Omega did very few of panda dials in the past in fact they're not you'd count for for such a watch. Except for the one they released in Japan exclusively for the store Marui back in the 1990's. Not very much is known about its origin really other than the fact that Marui is a well known department store sort of like Macy's or Nordstrom. In theory, Omega does sell more of their Professional line of watches at 42mm while the Reduced line. It is set 39mm which makes it a well proportioned watch. The Marui has a nice clean panda dial which could be considered as an alternative to some of the biggest names in vintage like Universal Geneve and early Carrera Heuer but for a much affordable price. With the release of Speedy Tuesday, the market for early Omega Speedmaster with panda dials are gaining a bit more respect and creeping up in value over time. It will come with the leather band I made for it seen in the photos. A kit might have been used to change the dial to what it is now.
